PROFILE : Power Programmer

PROGRAM : InfyTQ

PACKAGE : 8 lakhs per annum

VERDICT : Accepted

I cracked InfyTQ examination with 84% and was selected for System Engineers profile (3.60 lpa) at Infosys. After few days, i was invited to participate in InfyTQ Upgrade Test. It is a 3 hours coding contest that tests your grip on competitive programming. Questions were of medium level and i was able to solve complete two problems and 5/15 testcases on the last one. And after one week results were announced and i won a PPI opportunity for Power Programmer Role. 

My interview experience : 

It was a skype based interview, and it lasted for 40 minutes.

He first asked me for a brief introduction and then some questions on data structures and algorithm. Questions asked in the interview were :

1. Why we use data structures ?

2. Explain some of the sorting algorithms you know ?

3. Write the algorithm for merge sort ?

4. What is Stack ?

5. What is Queue ?

6. Implement both of them with their examples.

7. How is B+ tree different from B Tree ?

8. How do negative numbers are stored in memory ?

I was able to solve almost all questions.

Few days after, i was informed by my college that i won a Power Programmer role at Infosys.
