We are sure that you will be excited too for the results. Here we present you our analysis :
After analyzing the datasets from various previous editions of this online hiring contest – Hack with Infy, here is what we have concluded :
1. Candidates solving 1 (*or more < 2) coding problems completely, were provided with the Pre-Placement Interview (PPI) opportunity for System Engineer Specialist role at Infosys, provided they must come under the specified rank (last year it was under 3000).
2. Candidates solving 2 (*or more <= 3) coding problems completely :
2.1. Qualified for Grand Finale (Hackathon) + were provided with the Pre-Placement Interview (PPI) opportunity for Power Programmer role at Infosys, provided they must come under Top 100 coders of the contest.
2.2 From the same ranklist, subset of other top 200 candidates was also provided with the Pre-Placement Interview (PPI) opportunity for Power Programmer role at Infosys.
But, Hang on ! This is 2020, bit different.
Below are some key-points that you must know about Hack with Infy 2020 :
a. Unlike previous year, this year, Infosys has not made any commitment for SES profile.
This is what their official page says :

b. This year, Hack with Infy Round 2 actually “amazed” students. They were only able to observe the results of sample testcases, results of private testcases were hidden completely. Even they were not able to know the number of testcases their code passed (or failed), all thanks to HackerEarth Judge. And no prizes for guessing, it was unexpected and they didn’t liked that.
c. When you say “I have solved 2 coding problems completely out of 3” – You can not be so sure since you don’t have any clue about ‘how your code has performed for private/hidden testcases’.
Cut-Off to be in Top 100
In order to be in Top 100, you must have solved more than 2 coding problems at any cost, with all public and private testcases running.
However, this cut-off may depend upon various factors like – how your competitors have performed, code optimization and code-efficiency etc.
So, this is our analysis about Hack with Infy Round 2 Cut-off, meanwhile how many questions did you solved ?
