HackWithInfy is India-wide coding competition for final year engineering students i.e who are graduating in 2022. The objective of this program is to help students inculcate the culture of rapid problem-solving and innovative thinking, while giving them an opportunity to explore their passion for programming by competing with the best coders in the country. Top performers in the competition not only win exciting prizes, but also earn a chance to work with Infosys in niche technical roles.

However, HWI 2021 is going to be different as compared to last year editions. Let’s see what is special in this edition of Hack with Infy.
Only 3 2 rounds
Unlike the previous editions, HackWithInfy 2021 comprises only two rounds with Round 1 as an individual online test and a virtual Grand Finale. The top 100 finalists from Round 1 will compete in the virtual Grand Finale and get a pre-placement interview opportunity (PPI) for the Power Programmer role at Infosys.

Hack with Infy 2021 – How to register ?
Registration to HackWithInfy is open through InfyTQ, the Infosys learning and engagement platform for engineering students in India. If you are registered on InfyTQ, you can apply for HackWithInfy by clicking on the HackWithInfy program. Else, you can download the InfyTQ app either from the Google Play Store or from the iOS App Store or visit the InfyTQ website to experience the platform and register for HackWithInfy.
Important dates – HWI 2021
Round 1: May 5, 7, and 9, 2021
An online individual participation round on Infosys Assessment Platform.
Final round (virtual Grand Finale): July 2 – July 5, 2021
The 48-hour hackathon among teams and the Grand Finale hosted on Infosys Meridian.
The top 100 participants from Round 1 will compete in the four-day virtual grand finale in July 2021. The finalists will also get an opportunity for a pre-placement interview for the Power Programmer role at Infosys.
Apart from that, top performers of Hack With Infy Round 1 may also Pre-Placement Interview opportunity for Power Programmer role or System Engineer Specialist role depending upon the candidate’s performance.
Expected Exam Pattern :
Hack With Infy 2021 Round 1 might contain 3 coding problems based on real world scenerio. Candidate is expected to solve them within the timespan of 3 hours. You can expect the coding problems from following topics :

Mapping Concepts
Array manipulation
String manipulation
Tree
Graph
Key points of HWI 2021 :
- HackWithInfy participants who have also opted for the InfyTQ Advantage Round should only participate in the latter, not in HackWithInfy Round 1, as their Advantage Round performance will determine their selection for the Final Round of HackWithInfy.
- All submissions for Round 1 shall be evaluated by the judging panel on the following parameters:
Code efficiency, that is, the number of test cases that the code passes. Marks are assigned to the questions based on the difficulty levels and the solutions will be evaluated accordingly.
Plagiarism is not encouraged and there shall be negative marking for plagiarism.
