Results of Pre-Qualifier Round for TCS CodeVita S’9 2020 were announced on September 1 2020. Overall, 15020 students were selected and Ranks are awarded to only those participants who have solved one or more problems. All those who have solved one or more problem, but have failed to clear plagiarism checks, are not awarded ranks. Who will be qualified for TCS CodeVita Round 2 ?
If we look at the last year trends, then generally, top 15% Rank holders of Pre-Qualifier Round will be qualified for the Round 2 of TCS CodeVita 2020, further top 5% rank holders from round 2 will get a chance to compete in the last year round of TCS CodeVita.
Who will get the Interview calls ?
Now, the most buzzed question among the students – “Will I get an Interview call from TCS ?”
Last year data suggests that anyone who has secured any rank in Pre-Qualifier Round of TCS CodeVita, then, he/she will get the Interview call.
Hence, this time as well, all 15020 students may get a chance to attend the Interview at TCS for Ninja Profile.
How is the TCS CodeVita Interview ?
CodeVita is indeed one of the major hiring platforms for TCS and mainly hires for two profiles : Ninja(3.36 lpa) & Digital(7 lpa)
TCS CodeVita Interview generally takes place at three steps :
1. Technical Round
2. HR Round
3. Managerial Round
Technical Round : Technical Round is to test the student’s grip on the conceptual knowledge and core subjects. Duration for this Interview can lie between 15 to 30 minutes. Also, it is quite normal that they ask you to explain the logic/code the problems that you have solved in your Pre-Qualifier round of TCS CodeVita. Project is also a necessary thing which can play a vital role to set the tone of the Interview. Apart from this, some questions from OOPs Techniques, DBMS, basic programs can also be asked.
Tips : Prepare each and everything that you mention on your resume and make sure you remember the logic/code that you have used while solving the questions.
HR Round : Main aim of HR round is to test your attitude, confidence and communication skills. You can prepare yourself for some of the most common HR questions like Tell me something about yourself, Why should we hire you, your strengths, your weakness, ready to relocate etc.
Managerial Round : In this round, you might be provided with a kind of case-study, scenarios, and general puzzles. Make sure that you have some basic idea about TCS like founder, CEO, projects, clients etc.
If you are good in communication skills and basic sense, then you should not have any problem to deal with above two rounds.
What makes me eligible for Digital Profile ?
Well, this is complicated. However, we can provide you our assumptions :
- You must have solved 2 or more problems or should have rank less than 1000.
- Your performance in Technical Interview.
- ** You must have worked on cutting-edge technologies like Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Block chain and all. By this, we mean that you should have some working projects on any of these technologies.
